About the event
Hands-On with GraphRAG: Powering GenAI with Knowledge Graphs
Build more reliable and context-aware GenAI applications with GraphRAG and Neo4j.
Generative AI models can dramatically improve productivity and unlock access to information, but without the right context, they often hallucinate or generate unreliable outputs.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how GraphRAG enhances GenAI applications by integrating Large Language Models with Knowledge Graphs and graph databases using Neo4j.
You’ll explore how Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and GraphRAG help AI systems access structured, reliable, and context-rich information while building smarter AI-powered applications.
In this session, you’ll learn how to:
• Understand LLMs, hallucinations, and the importance of context
• Explore RAG and GraphRAG workflows
• Use vector indexes and embeddings for similarity search
• Query graph databases using natural language
• Build GraphRAG retrievers and simple GenAI applications using Python and OpenAI
If you’re building AI products, intelligent assistants, search systems, recommendation engines, or data-heavy applications during HACKHAZARDS ’26, this workshop will give you a strong foundation to build more powerful and reliable GenAI experiences.
